# Google Play Store API Authentication

GAMEPOT uses Google Play Store authentication information to validate purchase data processed on the server. The following explains how to create Google Play Store API credentials and integrate them with the GAMEPOT dashboard.

## Activate Google Cloud Console API <a href="#google-cloud-console-api" id="google-cloud-console-api"></a>

1. Select an existing Google Cloud project or create a new one.<br>

2. Go to the Google Play Android Developer API page and click the **Enable** button.<br>
